JENN'S ACCUTANE JOURNAL

WEEK 17

Week of Jan. 13 thru Jan 19, 2002

Hi everybody! Sorry I haven't been on the message board lately its just that now that my face is normal I actually go out instead of staying home every night!! I'm so happy to able to say that :)

So the boy in Tampa wasnt on Accutane huh? Great job of the media to once again put the spotlight on Accutane and bring such negative reports when it actually had nothing to do with it the whole time. Well what's done is done and hopefully Accutane will survive through it all!

As for me, well I'm a bit scared this week! I broke out with 3 small pimples on my face and one on my chest. I was a bit confused but I realized it is most likely because I'm a girl and sometimes break out once a month :) I definitely will mention it to my Derm this week as I am a bit concerned however. I've been putting Tea Tree Oil on them and they are disappearing though.

Other then that everything is pretty much the same, except I added the Vita-K stuff back into my regime and I want to see how it turns out this time since I'm not totally stressed about it breaking me out. I'll keep ya updated on how it turns out though.

Oh I wanted to let you guys in on a tip - you can go to epinions.com and find reviews/testimonials on almost any product (except the Vita-k for some reason :( I looked up Merderma on this link

Seems like a pretty cool site to see if people really recommend certain products, i.e. St. Ives Scrub, Cetaphil etc.

Well through letters and the message board I realized a lot more people then I expected have the muscle soreness. Although I do not have this soreness anymore I had read about different nature remedies to help such as sulfur (MSM). You can take it orally or put it on topically. If you do a search on "MSM muscle soreness" you get A LOT of pages telling how helpful it is for athletes especially. These sites talk a bit about it but like I said if you do a search you can find out tons more on it.

MSM also helps fight acne! Seems like vitamins do so much at one time!!! I'm becoming an all natural freak! If only we had an Accutane multi-vitamin wed be set!:) Most importantly it is one of the least toxic substances out there! (One article says table salt is more toxic!)

Anyways, I just wanted to share that with you because as I learn more about vitamins I also learn just how much our bodies really depend on them and how effective they can be to combat many everyday problems easily.

Well lastly I want to say thank you for all the wonderful emails I received this week and everyones concern over all the negative email I had been getting. For the most part the rush of negativity is over and I realized just how many truly wonderful people are still out there! Thank you.

Jenn
